Fragments don't feel like a side reward anymore. They're the thing that decides whether your Mythic plan actually moves this week. If you're checking Diablo 4 Items for a missing build piece, keep your Fragment stock in mind too, because one smart Cube conversion can change the whole setup.
Build the Loop Before Spending Anything

Start with seasonal reputation and Ruptures. It sounds dull, yeah, but this is where the route gets fed. Surging and Colossal Ruptures are worth your time when they're up, especially if you still need experience, seasonal drops, and access to Realmwalker encounters.
Realmwalkers lead into Deathtoll Chambers, and Chambers are where your run becomes serious. Superior Lair Keys are the real fuel. On higher Torment levels, the guaranteed key makes the chamber much less of a gamble. Stack keys first. Then go after Corrupted Reaper without stopping every ten minutes.
What Most Players Are Doing

The Meta: Players stack keys, then run Corrupted Reaper on repeat.
The Snag: Pushing Torment too high turns two Fragments into wasted minutes.
The Fix: Farm the highest tier you clear cleanly every time.
Reality check: A full key stack feels great, but one sloppy boss setup can drain an evening fast.
Pick Activities by What They Feed

Don't judge each activity by Fragment drops alone. A Rupture that builds reputation and sends you toward a Chamber is doing more work than it first appears. This is the rough priority I'd use during a normal session.

The repeatable Glints of Hope reward matters more than people give it credit for. It guarantees a Fragment, so it smooths out dry stretches. Also, the Cube now needs four Fragments rather than five. Nice change, but don't burn all four just because you can.
The Question That Keeps Coming Up

A lot of players are wondering whether they should craft the first useful Unique as soon as they reach four Fragments.
Usually, no. Check the slot's possible outcomes first. A smaller item pool gives you a much cleaner shot at something your build actually wants.
Make Each Craft Count

Corrupted Reaper is the destination once your character can handle it without deaths or long resets. Up to two Fragments per run is hard to ignore, but speed still wins over pride. Keep reputation moving, gather keys through Chambers, then spend them in a focused run. When you're ready to craft, use D4 items as a reminder to target the slot that fixes a real weakness, not just the first shiny option.
